I am testing the the WP Event Manager along with the WP Event Manager - Google Maps addon, and I have an idea that I believe could enhance the functionality of the plugin for many users.

Feature Suggestion:

I would like to suggest adding a feature to the event listing template that includes a checkbox to enable or disable radius search functionality. When the checkbox is checked, the Google Maps radius search provided by your addon would be activated. This feature aims to avoid overwhelming users with too many inquiry fields in the event listing shortcode.

Benefits:

  • User Control: This feature would give users the option to easily enable or disable the radius search functionality based on their preferences.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Providing a simple and intuitive way to filter events by location could improve the overall user experience on sites using your plugin.

I believe this feature could be a valuable addition to the WP Event Manager plugin and would greatly enhance its usability for users who rely on location-based event searches.
